Welcome to my 5th grade class!
Hello and welcome to my page!
This is my 31st year teaching in Columbia County and I love what I do! I have taught every grade from K-5 except 4th grade. (Maybe I will get there before I retire) If you look carefully at my banner, you can tell I love Clemson, Star Wars, Doctor Who, and my fur babies. I am married with 3 amazing adult children and one super sweet grandson. (I'm going to have to sneak pictures of them in somewhere on this page. Hopefully, they won't find out!)
I am thrilled to be teaching 5th-grade Science and Math again this year. Mrs. Long and I love working together and will do everything possible to make this a successful year for everyone.
Hands-on, interactive experiments and activities are my absolute favorite! I love discovering how things work and why things do what they do. I just completed my Computer Science endorsement and will integrate it throughout the year. My hope is that by the end of this year, you will have a true love for math, science, and computer technology too.
