About me
I am excited to teach at Riverside Elementary School again this year! This is my 27th year working as a reading specialist and I have experience working with all elementary grade levels.
I love to read, bake, and work in the garden. Having grown up in RI, my husband and I enjoy watching the Patriots and Red Sox. Our son Jim, 26, lives in Atlanta and our daughter Olivia, 24, lives in Cambridge, MA. We love to visit them!
Reading Intervention: Grades 4 & 5
This year we will be using Language! and other research-based programs with the goal of accelerated growth in reading and writing. Student data will drive instructional focus. We will be working with an intensive, comprehensive literacy curriculum that integrates language, reading, writing, vocabulary, grammar and foundational skills.
