Mrs. Cutchins Math

Welcome to Mrs. Cutchins's Math Class. This is my eighth year here at Riverside Elementary School and my twenty-fourth year of teaching. I have taught third, fourth, and fifth grades in four different states. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education, a Master's Degree in Divergent Learning, and am currently working on a Doctorate Degree at Augusta University. I love math and can't wait to see how much you grow this year as we learn new things and build on what you already know. In my spare time, I like to read, crochet, and love to take pictures. I also spend a lot of time with my family and love to travel. I think I have visited more than half of the 50 states and have been to 9 different countries! Watching professional football is another passion of mine. The Carolina Panthers are my favorite team, so you will see me in a lot of blue and black this year! :) I am looking forward to a great year!

Email is usually the most effective mode of communication since I check it regularly throughout the day. Please do not hesitate to contact me with any concerns or questions. Our 5th-grade team will have a weekly newsletter that will give you information about standards being taught in each subject along with important calendar events. It will be sent through email from your homeroom teacher and will also be posted on my web page in the "Newsletters" tab. All teachers will have a Google Classroom page set up for each subject area, which students will use throughout the year for communication and assignment completion. Students can access Google Classroom through their ClassLink account.
