Meet the Teacher: 

Hi!  My name is Kathy Ritz.  This is my eighth year teaching 3rd grade in Columbia County.  I am very excited about teaching your child, and working with your family this year!  I live in Evans, Georgia, with my husband Mike, and two children, Avery , who is a junior at Greenbrier High School , and Colin, who is in 8th grade at Riverside Middle School.  I enjoy spending time with my family, exercising, traveling, and reading during my free time.  I attended college at the University of Georgia, where I received my Bachelor's in Business Administration.  After spending twelve years in the accounting profession, I decided to make a career change that would allow me to have a meaningful impact on our future!  I earned my M.Ed. in elementary education from the University of Phoenix.
